What is actually going on with Trump?

President Donald Trump's doctor, Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley (pictured on cover photo), held a second medical briefing that raised more questions than were answered.

In a slightly concerning news conference today, Trump's doctors said that even though Trump's oxygen levels have dropped two times, they feel that he could still be discharged tomorrow from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

The first dip in oxygen levels occurred late Friday morning when the President had "a high fever and his oxygen saturation was transiently dipping below 94%." He was then given oxygen and then levels went back up to 95%. He then walked about the White House with only mild symptoms.

On Saturday, his oxygen levels dropped to 93%, but were brought back up again with oxygen. This also caused his doctors to begin treating him with dexamethasone (a steroid drug), which has been shown to help patients with coronavirus and is given to patients on supplemental oxygen or ventilation.

His current oxygen level is 98%.

However, Conley refused to talk about the first alarming episode at the White House. When asked if Trump's oxygen level had dipped below 90%, Conley said that the President's blood oxygen levels didn't get down into "the low 80s." He would also offer no detail about what X-rays or CT scans have shown about the President's lungs.

Conley also admitted today that he had omitted those alarming drops in the President's oxygen levels during Saturday's news conference because he wanted to "reflect the upbeat attitude" that the team and the President had about his condition and didn't want "to give any information that might steer the course of illness in another direction."

In this time, I feel as if it's important more than ever to keep the American people informed with what's going on. His supporters want to make sure he's okay, and everyone else wants to make sure that the White House isn't attempting to cover things up. If anything, doesn't telling everyone every detail about Trump's recovery perhaps make him more human and likeable in people's eyes?

I don't know. Think about it. Mull it over.
