Some More Good News!

Thursday came with a plethora of good news for One Direction and Taylor Swift fans. Yesterday marked the 10th Anniversary of One Direction, and Taylor Swift released a surprise album.

To celebrate their anniversary, One Direction launched an interactive website (that fans have already crashed) and shared a 5 minute video celebrating the band's history. In addition, Spotify dropped a lengthy playlist to enjoy, as well as a selection of reformatted EP's. They also shared their personal thanks on Twitter, which fans seem to enjoy the most.

Swifties were freaking out when Taylor stated that a new album would be coming out just hours later after the announcement. Her new album is a far cry from her goth Reputation album or her pop sugar Lover album. Her new album folklore is more indie, and has been characterized as more "mellow, restrained and mature" than her other albums. She wrote the entirety of this album in lockdown, and she said in a Tweet that her "imagination has run wild and this album is the result." The reviews have been glowing. So check it out!
