Quarantine Lifted For Those With Vaccine?

Fun fact: Fully vaccinated people who meet criteria will no longer be required to quarantine following an exposure to someone with COVID-19, according to the CDC.

Sounds like good news to me!

In some other good news, the Sonoma County Office of Education has now finally began their effort to get school staff vaccinated in hopes of school reopenings. They are targeting 70+ first, and then those who are working with smaller schools that are already open. If all goes to plan and our case count stays below 25 cases per 100,000 for 5 consecutive days, we can begin to open elementary schools.

However, it doesn't look like there is much hope for middle and high schools to reopen. For us to even consider reopening, our case count would have to remain under 7 per 100,000. Fingers crossed that vaccinations will bring our number down, but I don't really see how it could decrease that much before the end of school.

Also, did you hear about that lawyer that tried to appear for a court Zoom with the cat filter on? He couldn't get rid of it, so I feel like he had to present his case as a cat. It was quite funny.
