Presidential Debate

Hello y'all - I am back after a brief break due to getting evacuated. Our home was under mandatory evacuation for 2 days because of the Glass Fire, and we have just returned today. However, I still watched the presidential debate last night in my hotel room.

It was a mess. Props to Joe Biden for keeping it together while Trump angrily interrupted him the entire time.

The headline moments: 1) When Biden accidentally called Trump a clown.

2) When Biden asked Trump if he could just shut up.

3) When Trump refused to condemn white supremacy.

4) When Trump told white supremacists to "stand by." White supremacists on Twitter then tweeted about their support and how Trump's words meant that they were allowed to beat up Democrats. (see cover photo)

5) When Trump said that climate change wasn't a thing and California was just on fire because we live in forest cities (I personally don't live on Endor, but go off). This hurt worse because at the time I didn't really know if any of my friends' houses were still standing.

6) When Trump said that Biden was trying to take away our cows.

7) When Biden said that Trump was unable to finish things.

8) When Trump said that he was just debating the moderator instead of Biden. (I think this is when Wallace decided that he was done for the night.)

9) When Trump said (falsely) that Biden was at the bottom of his college class, and wouldn't let it go.

10) When Trump tried to wave goodbye to Wallace at the end of the debate like 4 different times and each time Wallace intentionally ignored him.

11) When Trump went off at Biden about his dead son and his other son's drug addiction (like come on, this is just in poor taste).

12) When Trump went off about VBM fraud that wasn't true and just basically instilled doubt in American democracy.

If anyone is reading this, please comment on what part of the debate was your favorite!
