The Person Behind the Mask (or Blog)

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

Hello! Fiona Sweet here to bring you a teen's perspective on current COVID-19 updates. I want to make clear that I will not be reporting new information, but instead simply sharing my take of what is on the news. I am a high school student that has had school canceled for the rest of the year, and I wanted to put together a collection of stories to not only stifle my boredom but to let you guys know how teens see current administrative decisions and how we feel distance learning is going compared to normal in-school teaching. I had the idea to start this because my history teacher has asked me to document my time at home in a journal, and I felt that my perspective might be interesting to share. (Below is a picture of where I wished I was instead of at home.)

If you guys enjoy or have something to say about my posts, feel free to comment below! (Although, I want to stress that this blog is not the place for hate, so please do not spread negativity in this already extremely negative time.)
