Google Classroom, Zoom, Khan Academy, or Edmodo?

I am a junior with IB classes that have a second year of teaching (ie Physics 1 and 2) and projects that span both years. For this reason, having a strong basis of the subject that will continue to be taught next year needs to be constructed during this time of distance learning. Unfortunately, distance learning is not comparable to in-school teaching. Many of my teachers use different platforms, and due dates and Zoom meetings become hard to keep track of in this new reality that feels rather like a fever dream. I want to commend all of our teachers for doing an amazing job with everything that districts or higher government is throwing at them right now; I know that distance learning is an unwelcome and scary change for all of us.
Unfortunately, the level of learning that students are getting with distance learning currently is simply not the same as before. Students are faced with increasing problems at home that could range from having to take care of younger siblings to an abusive parent.
The one take away from this new type of learning is that I wish that teachers would all stay on the same page about how they are going to structure their class. Having to navigate between multiple different platforms and different grading policies and class loads makes the shift in teaching more difficult than it needs to be.
*Also, has anyone else gotten zoom bombed? That can be really scary!
My physics class got zoomed bomb it was super weird!
