California has lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state today due to improving COVID-19 conditions. The state will now return to a system of county-by-county restrictions. This change will begin allowing businesses (such as restaurants) to resume outdoor operations.
The state is also lifting a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew.
Governor Gavin Newsom is expected to address the public later today, so be watching for that.
That's basically all the news on that. I don't think that Sonoma County will really be opening up, though. The soonest that K-3 grades can go back is March 1st, and that is looking more and more unlikely. Last Friday, my senior parking spot got refunded.
Happy senior year everyone. Is it everything you hoped for?
I am curious how Sonoma County will respond not that the stay at home orders have been lifted.....
