Breaking News!

This week's news headlines have been insane. I feel like there is a new "Breaking News" headline every five minutes.

So today, I decided to write them all down. (They're rather self-explanatory, but I'll give a brief description if needed.)

- The man who broke into Pelosi's office has been charged with three federal counts (entering a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and stealing public property).

- A laptop was stolen from Pelosi's office during the storming of the Capitol.

- Pelosi asks Joint Chiefs of Staff about preventing Trump from launching nuclear strikes. (Don't worry, there are safeguards in place to prevent him from this.)

- Biden is going to speed vaccine rollout, ending Trump's policy of holding back second doses.

- The death of Brian Sicknick (a Capitol Police officer) is now being investigated as homicide.

- West Virginia state Republican lawmaker Derrick Evans has been charged (with illegal entry) after live-streaming entering the Capitol with rioters.

- While Trump somewhat had a concession speech, he says he will not be going to Biden's inauguration. (Biden, unsurprisingly, could not care less about this.)

- White House aides say Trump was "delighted" as the Capitol was stormed.

- Nancy Pelosi is looking at drawing up articles of impeachment for Trump if he does not resign.

And... I think that's about it. But pretty crazy, right? I don't know why I've witnessed enough history for four lifetimes in the first 17 years of my life, but the 2020's are a gift that just keep on giving.

Have a great weekend and stay safe!
